How to Watch iPhone 8S, iPhone XSE Launch Live Stream

Apple has a jam-packed special event lined up for Wednesday. As well as three new iPhones, we could see an iPad Pro, Apple Watch 4, iMacs, and a new cheap MacBook, while the AirPower that was announced a year ago is now well overdue. And we’ll hear all about the release date for iOS 12 and macOS 10.14 Mojave. It’s not to be missed, so here’s how to ensure you don’t, erm, miss it.

When is the Apple event?

Wednesday 12 September at 10am PDT/6pm BST.

Where can I watch a live stream of the Apple event?

On Apple’s website >> right here.

I missed it, what can I do?

You can catch up here, and enjoy our coverage of the products launched during Apple’s special event:

* Eventual names TBC.

What else do I need to know?

Apple is still fussy about what hardware you use to watch the stream. Here’s its official advice:

“This stream is best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Safari on iOS 10 or later; a Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later; or a PC using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Streaming to Apple TV via AirPlay requires an Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software or tvOS. Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required).”
