How to watch the Ubisoft E3 2018 livestream

Ubisoft generated a lot of excitement at E3 last year, and E3 2018 is set to be no different. With a host of upcoming games ready to be showcased, Ubisoft has confirmed its attendance at this year’s event, and has released details of a press conference taking place on 11 June 2018.

While the Ubisoft E3 2018 showcase is taking place in LA, you can watch it from home via a livestream. Here’s where we explain how to watch the Ubisoft E3 2018 live stream, along with what to expect from the publisher this year.

When is the Ubisoft E3 2018 conference taking place?

Like most other AAA publishers, Ubisoft is hosting a press conference before E3 2018 officially begins in June. It gives the publisher a chance to showcase what is coming out in the next year and beyond, and helps build hype about Ubisoft before the show doors open to the public.

As announced on the official Ubisoft Twitter account, the company will host its annual press conference on Monday 11 June 2018 at 1pm PT, or at 9pm BST for those of us in the UK. While it seems late, it’s not as bad as Sony’s E3 2018 show, which starts at 2am in the UK!

How can I watch the Ubisoft E3 2018 livestream?

Though the Ubisoft E3 2018 conference is set to take place in LA on 11 June 2018, there’s an easy way to watch the action unfold as it happens from the comfort of your sofa at home.

Why? Like most other companies showcasing new games at E3 2018, Ubisoft will host a livestream for those at home to tune in. It’s free to access, and should be hosted on the official Ubisoft YouTube channel, along with Twitch and possibly even Facebook.

The good news is that no matter where the stream is hosted, we’ll embed the livestream at the top of this article. That makes things much simpler; just bookmark this page, set your reminder and head back here in June to find out what Ubisoft has to offer in 2018 and beyond.

What will Ubisoft announce at E3 2018?

It’s a relatively late start for viewers in the UK, so what will Ubisoft announce to make it worth tuning in live for? While the company hasn’t explicitly announced which games will be featured in the press conference, we can hazard a guess at what will appear.

Let’s first recap the games announced at E3 2017, namely Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Skull and Bones. A recent developer livestream suggests that BG&E2 development is coming along well – we just hope it’s well enough for Ubisoft to showcase an extended gameplay trailer during its press conference.

Fans of Ubisoft games will also remember that Ubisoft confirmed the existence of The Division 2 earlier this year, and promised more details at E3 2018. We’ll hopefully get our first proper look at the game, which is still largely a mystery, and hopefully a release date too.

Those that tuned in to Ubi’s E3 2017 press conference may also remember the announcement of a new game set in James Cameron’s Avatar universe. Considering the next Avatar film is still more than two years away, it feels like a long-shot that anything will be showcased this year, but it is possible.

Whatever Ubisoft showcases at E3 2018, one thing is certain; you won’t want to miss it.
