The first teaser of the new film about Deadpool launched during the 2024 Super Bowl. The spot revealed the film’s final premiere date, the plot outline and the blockbuster’s official title. It also teased the return of Wolverine, AKA Logan.
Deadpool was originally part of the X-Men universe, the rights of which were held by 20th Century Fox. However, in 2019, The Walt Disney Company purchased the studio. The mutants were introduced to the world in Ms. Marvel and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Deadpool thus became part of the MCU.

The film’s new title is Deadpool & Wolverine, and it will officially introduce Wade Wilson to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The story will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
