While Samsung usually only launches one new Note model each year, this year it’s looking very likely that we’ll see two, with both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro receiving many rumors. And now, photos of cases and screen protectors seemingly designed for both models have leaked, highlighting a key difference.
Shared by @UniverseIce (a fairly reliable leaker) the images show a differing number of camera cut-outs on the back.
Both have an oblong camera block on the left edge, but one design, likely intended for the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 10, shows just a single circular cut-out to the side of that, while the other shows three of these cut-outs.

The images are in line with previous leaks, as we’ve heard before that the standard Galaxy Note 10 will have three lenses on the back, while the Note 10 Pro will have four. Of course, there are two extra cut-outs here, but one might simply be a second flash module or something.
Otherwise, the designs look similar, with both sporting a cut-out for a single-lens punch-hole camera on the front.
Along with the images, @UniverseIce tweeted that “there will be no better screen” than the Galaxy Note 10’s in the second half of 2019. They didn’t explain what’s so good about it, but it’s not a surprising claim, since Samsung’s flagship screens are usually among the best.
Previous rumors point to both models having a 1440 x 3040 screen, with sizes of around 6.4 inches for the Note 10, and 6.8 inches for the Note 10 Pro. We won’t have long to wait until we found out all the official details though, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 range is launching on August 7.
Last year’s Honor Band 4 is one of our favorite cheap fitness trackers, but it seems the company will be making the follow-up product into a powerhouse, top-end device.
Honor’s CEO, George Zhao, has teased the product on Chinese microblogging site Weibo that shows a quick glimpse of the tracker and a few of the features included.
According to Honor’s CEO, the fitness band will come with features usually reserved for top-end fitness trackers, including a blood oxygen level monitor and a way to keep an eye on fatigue.
It will also have a way to detect hypoxemia dizziness too, which is a condition that can mean your oxygen isn’t meeting your body’s needs. It can have a negative impact on your heart or lungs, and this tracker would allow you to discover you have it.

Those new features look to be the most interesting part of the next-gen fitness tracker, especially as the teaser image included in the Weibo post seems to show a remarkably similar looking product to the Honor Band 4.
The design on the Honor Band 4 was one of the highlights of the fitness tracker, so it makes sense the company will keep with its look including the color display and a rounded design that sits comfortably on your wrist.
We’d expect to see other features such as the swim-proof design, all-day heart rate tracking and NFC for contactless payments making a return for the next fitness tracker from Honor.
The Honor Band 4 was announced in September 2018, so it’d make sense if we see an upgraded product from the company in the coming months. It may be a little while until you’ll be able to buy one though as often these products first come out in China before a worldwide release.

British Airways says it is facing a record fine of £183m for last year’s breach of its security systems.
The airline, owned by IAG, says it was “surprised and disappointed” by the penalty from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
At the time, BA said hackers had carried out a “sophisticated, malicious criminal attack” on its website.
The ICO said it was the biggest penalty it had ever handed out and the first to be made public under new rules.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force last year and was the biggest shake-up to data privacy in 20 years.
The penalty imposed on BA is the first one to be made public since those rules were introduced and amounts to 1.5% of its worldwide turnover in 2017, less than the possible maximum of 4%.
Until now, the biggest penalty was £500,000, imposed on Facebook for its role in the Cambridge Analytica data scandal. That was the maximum allowed under the old data protection rules that applied before GDPR.
BA has 28 days to appeal. Willie Walsh, chief executive of IAG, said British Airways would be making representations to the ICO.
“We intend to take all appropriate steps to defend the airline’s position vigorously, including making any necessary appeals,” he said.
Signing into the iCloud website may soon get a lot simpler from an iPhone, iPad or Mac browser, with Apple working on bringing biometric login support to the service in iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina.
According to 9to5Mac, testers who are already using beta versions of Apple’s upcoming operating systems now have the ability to sign into iCloud.com via Touch ID and Face ID, adding an additional level of convenience to the login process.
A pop-up window on the Cupertino company’s new beta.icloud.com reportedly offers beta users on compatible devices the ability to sign-in via Touch ID or Face ID without the need for two-factor authentication – makes sense, given that Apple’s biometric security is far stronger than a manually typed-out password.
According to 9to5Mac, the new biometric sign-in method is likely connected to the tech giant’s upcoming Sign In with Apple tool, which is currently in beta and is scheduled to publicly launch in September. The tool is said to make it “easy for users to sign in to your apps and websites using their Apple ID.”
